Our Mission
At A Message of Hope, our mission is pure and simple: we provide financial assistance for cancer patients by offering direct support for families with cancer who face the monetary burdens associated with this illness. As a proud part of the Southern Maryland cancer fund, we aim to alleviate the financial strain on those in need.
Our Events
We organize multiple events throughout the year to provide financial assistance for cancer patients and support for families with cancer facing financial hardship. Some of our most recent events include a Bingo fundraiser, raffles, local restaurant nights, and many more, all contributing to the Southern Maryland cancer fund.
Our Impact
A Message of Hope Cancer Fund, Inc. is an ALL VOLUNTEER organization dedicated to providing financial assistance for cancer patients. Over the last 3 years, we have raised over $34,000 and helped more than 8 families in the local area. Our Southern Maryland cancer fund offers support for families with cancer by assisting with co-pays, prescription drugs, rent/mortgage, groceries, and gas to/from treatment. We proudly serve families in Southern Maryland, including Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary's County.
